About Me

Solving real problems with data and AI

I'm Abdullah Mehmood, a Computer Science student at HITEC University Taxila with a passion for Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Full-Stack Development. I enjoy building practical solutions that solve real-world problems through technology.

My experience includes machine learning, data analysis, web development, networking, and IoT projects. I primarily work with Python, SQL, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and modern development tools to create reliable and user-focused applications.

I'm continuously learning, improving my skills, and building projects that prepare me for a career as an AI Engineer and Data Scientist. My goal is to create innovative software that delivers meaningful impact.

Curiosity
Chasing the 'why' behind every model, not just the accuracy score.
Problem Solving
Comfortable sitting with a hard bug or a messy dataset until it makes sense.
Teamwork
Built projects solo and in teams — knows how to communicate technical work clearly.
Continuous Learning
Treats every project as a chance to close a gap in fundamentals.

Things I've actually built

Placeholder projects below — swap in your real repos, descriptions, and links. Each card is wired for a GitHub link and a live demo.

Heart Disease Prediction

A classification model that predicts heart disease risk from patient health data, with an emphasis on recall for the highest-risk group.

PythonScikit-LearnPandasMatplotlib

Student Performance Prediction

Predicts final exam outcomes from study habits and attendance data, surfacing the features that matter most for early intervention.

PythonScikit-LearnPandasSeaborn

Sales Dashboard

An interactive Power BI dashboard turning raw sales exports into a live view of revenue, regions, and top-performing products.

Power BIDAXSQLExcel

Netflix Data Analysis

Exploratory analysis of Netflix's content catalog — genre trends, release patterns, and regional content mix over time.

PythonPandasMatplotlibTableau

Customer Churn Prediction

A churn-risk model for a subscription business, paired with a simple scoring dashboard for the retention team.

PythonScikit-LearnPandasPower BI

AI Chatbot

A context-aware chatbot built on an LLM API, with conversation memory and a lightweight web interface.

PythonLLMsNLPJavaScript

Object Detection

A real-time object detection pipeline for identifying and localizing multiple objects in a video stream.

PythonPyTorchOpenCVComputer Vision

Face Recognition

A face recognition system for identity verification, built on embedding-based matching rather than simple template comparison.

PythonOpenCVTensorFlowComputer Vision

Loan Prediction

Predicts loan approval outcomes from applicant data, with a focus on explainability for a non-technical audience.

PythonScikit-LearnPandasSQL

University Management System

A full-stack system for managing student records, course enrollment, and grading — the first real app I shipped end to end.

How I got here

  • Year 1

    Started Computer Science

Began my BS in Computer Science — the starting point for everything since.

  • Year 1

    Learned Python

Picked up Python as a first real language and started automating small, tedious things.

  • Year 2

    Learned SQL

Learned to query and reason about relational data — the foundation for every analysis project since.

  • Year 2

    Built Web Projects

Shipped my first full-stack projects, including a University Management System.

  • Year 3

    Started AI

Took my first real steps into artificial intelligence — supervised learning, model evaluation, the fundamentals.

  • Year 3

    Learning Machine Learning

Currently deepening my ML fundamentals: classical models, evaluation, and the math underneath them.

  • Now

    Building Data Science Projects

Applying what I'm learning to real, end-to-end projects — from raw data to a working model.

  • Future

AI Engineer at a Global Company

Working toward a role where I can build AI systems that ship to real users.

Placeholder quotes — replace with real feedback once you have it. Real, specific testimonials outperform polished-sounding placeholder ones.

Replace this with a real quote from a professor, teammate, or mentor once you have one — a specific line about how you work is worth more than a generic compliment.
